Holy Mary’s Society (Regd.) Banur- a Christian Minority Institution, with a vision ‘To Impart High Quality Education to Banur and Its Surrounding Villages’ founded Holy Mary’s School, Banur (Pb.) on 2 February 1999. Every year children receive the most advanced curriculum and teaching methodologies, carried on, by revising the existing policies and reformulating the status quo. Every endeavor is to keep high standards in academics, for providing quality education to each student as per C.B.S.E syllabus.

Admission Period

Admissions take place based on the student performance in the admission tests, primed by our highly qualified staff. The Admission period at HMS is from 15 January to April. We give admissions on ‘First Come First Serve Basis’. We suggest all the parents take the admissions at the earliest to avoid any rejections later on.

Term Details:

The school year commences in April and comprises of two terms, as stated below:

  • First Term begins from April and lasts until September. (6 Months)
  • Second Term begins in October and lasts until March. (6 Months)
  • Academic Session Period is from 5th April to 22nd March

Admission Concession to the Poor and Needy

Holy Mary’s School stands for social causes and wishes to serve the society and this is why we have reserved 25% of the seats for the poor and weaker sections, as per the RTE (Right to Education) Act. Not only this, HMS also provides absolute free education to those who are needy and cannot support their child’s education.

Employee Assistance

As a part of Employee Assistance Scheme, HMS provides 50% concession to all the children of our employees.

Annual Vacation

Every year students have a vacation period for two times in a year, termed as Summer Vacations and Winter Vacations. Summer Vacations start from 25 May to 5 July. Winter Vacations commence from 1 Jan to 14 Jan.
